Enjoy our cabin! This renovated 500 sq. ft cabin on Grindstone Lake maximizes every inch of living space. In addition to a modern kitchen & bathroom, you will have access to wifi & a smart tv. Our deck provides beautiful lake views & sunsets. Clear, sandy bottom lake with an excellent fishing reputation. Golf 10 min away, Pickle Ball 25 min away, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Snowshoeing, Snowmobiling & XC Skiing right outside your door. Hayward is 8 miles away with its cute shops & restaurants.

Q: Can we check-in early or check-out late?
A: Perhaps, it just depends. Check-in is at 4pm. If the place is vacant and has been cleaned we would love to accommodate your request. However during busy season it is unlikely (our cleaner is busy!). Checkout is at 11:00 am. The cleaner needs to get into the space to clean it for our next guests.
Q: Is there WiFi?
A: Yes. We have StarLink.
Q: Do we have a television?
A: Yes. Guests can use their streaming service.
Q: Is the water safe to drink?
A: Yes! The water is from the well.
Q: Can I swim in the lake? Is there a beach?
A: We have a small shoreline with a large shared dock. The water is very clear and great for swimming.

A: Yes! The parking area is large enough for 1-2 vehicles. Please do not block the garage.

A: Musky, Bass, Northern Pike, Bluegill, Trout, Perch and Walleye.

A: No, we don't however Hayward Outfitters/Hayward Water Sports does and they are located in town.

A: Yes, they are located all around the area. Check out the Hayward Chamber of Commerce site for hiking and other outdoor activities.
Q: Is there a pier?
A: Yes, there is a pier. Do not park boat at pier overnight. Boaters must bring their boat out of the water every day. The boat launch for Grindstone is a short drive from the house.
