This is an excellent base for exploring the island as we are roughly equidistant from the lush North Shore and, in the opposite direction, west side beaches, sweeping vistas and the many hikes and walks in Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Park.

We recommend bringing or renting your own mask, snorkel, fins, and life jacket, if desired, to ensure a proper fit. We have plenty of beach gear but not in every size. You are welcome to see what we have before renting. Boogie boards and umbrellas are not provided as they easily break under normal use. We also recommend trip insurance to protect against the unexpected, including weather, illness, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances. We purchase it ourselves when we travel.
