The location of She Comes in Colors cannot be beat! Centrally located in Old Town Alexandria between metro stations and the Potomac waterfront, this is a walker's paradise. The home was built in 1890 and retains much of that old Virginia charm thanks to bright or bold colors in every room. Fun fact: the original plot of land was surveyed by young George Washington, who maintained his own townhome just a few blocks away!
The space
We hope you love our house as much as we do. We call the rooms by their colors.
Upstairs: The master bedroom (blue room) is upstairs and there is a full bathroom attached. We also have a living room (green room) upstairs with a desk and large sectional couch for additional sleeping. An air mattress is also available.
Downstairs: The entry room (red room) is multi-purpose. There is a trundle bed which pulls out into two very comfortable twin beds. The dining room (purple room) is a great central gathering place. You exit to the backyard through a small kitchen with all the amenities.
The backyard is pet friendly, and a great oasis!

Other things to note
There is central air controlled by a Nest thermostat. Feel free to adjust the temperature by double tapping the right of the thermostat. Then, swipe your finger up or down to adjust.
We offer a gas grill and fire table with propane. We always try to have an extra tank available but can order more if you run out. All it takes is to put the empty tank on the front porch, then the service will swap out for a new one after the order is placed. We hope you enjoy!
